The annual Third Saturday in October rivalry is almost here. The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Tennessee Volunteers in another top-25 SEC showdown during Week 7 of the 2026 college football season at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
The SEC announced TV channel information for the matchup between the two century-old rivals late Saturday.
Alabama (5-1 overall, 3-1 SEC) will face Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) at 2:30 p.m. CT in Week 7. The game will be televised on ABC, marking the Crimson Tide's sixth appearance on the "Alphabet Network" in seven games this season. Alabama-Tennessee will stream on ESPN+.
The Crimson Tide are coming off a 20-17 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 6 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama was held out of the end zone in the second
half after taking a 14-10 lead over Georgia on the final play of the first half when EJ Crowell bounced outside and scored on a 1-yard touchdown run.
Keelon Russell was 16 of 30 for 185 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Russell made some electric plays with his legs to extend drives that resulted in first downs, including a 22-yard run, but he looked out of sorts particularly early on against the Bulldogs' top-rated defense.
Tennessee came from behind to defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks, 24-17, in Fayetteville in Week 6. Freshman quarterback George MacIntyre made his first career start and threw for 247 yards and a touchdown in the Volunteers' win. DeSean Bishop rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown.
TV commentators for Alabama-Tennessee will be announced later in the week.
Alabama is No. 7 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll. Tennessee is No. 14.
