On Saturday afternoon, one of the SEC's biggest rivalries will be renewed when the Alabama Crimson Tide travel to Neyland Stadium for a showdown with the Tennessee Volunteers.
A venue where Alabama has lost their last two trips, Roll Tide Wire recently turned to the EA Sports College Football 27 video game in hopes of simulating the matchup to see which team would win. The simulation, which is a perfect 6-0 so far this season when correctly predicting Alabama's games, was set for Neyland Stadium with a 3:30 kickoff time under clear skies.
Let's take a look at this week's Alabama game simulation in College Football 27 to see which team it has winning the Third Saturday in October.
Alabama vs. Tennessee Week 7 College Football 27 simulation
- Final Score: Alabama 37, Tennessee 44
This week's College Football 27 game simulation predicts a second-straight
Alabama loss, 44-37. The Volunteers originally jumped out to an early lead in the simulation, eventually owning a 24-6 lead at halftime before Alabama made a second half comeback to make things interesting late.
As indicated by the final score, the simulation predicts an offensive showcase for both teams where each racks up 500+ yards of total offense. Both starting quarterbacks, Keelon Russell and George MacIntyre, had strong games, while three different receivers between the two teams had over 100+ yards in Mike Matthews, Braylon Staley, and Lotzeir Brooks.
Alabama and Tennessee will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET this Saturday, Oct. 17. The game can be see on ABC.
