Alabama has reportedly made the top five for four-star 2028 athlete Kamieon Compton-Nero, as Rivals' Hayes Fawcett announced Monday.
Joining Alabama in the 6'3, 185 pounder's top five is Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and SMU.
Compton-Nero ranks as the No. 45 overall player and the top-ranked athlete in the class of 2028, per the 247Sports composite rankings. Meanwhile, the On3/Rivals industry rankings slot him as the No. 51 overall player and No. 3 ranked athlete. He is the top player in the state of Oklahoma out of Owasso High School. He also plays basketball.
So far in his junior season, Compton-Nero has 22 catches, 133 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns on offense, as well as eight tackles on defense. Compton-Nero is in his first season at Owasso
after transferring in from Rejoice Christian where he played quarterback on offense, racking up over 3,000 all-purpose yards and 49 total touchdowns last year as a sophomore. He also had 95 tackles on defense for Rejoice Christian last year as well.
Alabama currently has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the class of 2028 with six commits, per 247Sports.
Compton-Nero visited Alabama this past weekend for their 49-18 win over South Carolina.
