After an impressive showing in Week 1, did the Alabama Crimson Tide's national championship odds move following a big win over East Carolina?
According to FanDuel, Alabama odds to win the 2026 national championship sit at +2500, as of Tuesday, Sept. 8. A week ago, Alabama's odds also sat at +2500, meaning they did not move following the Crimson Tide's win over East Carolina.
The Crimson Tide's national championship odds are also eleventh-best nationally entering Week 2, as well as sixth-best of any SEC team. SEC teams with better odds to win the national championship than Alabama currently are Georgia (+700), Texas (+800), LSU (+1600), Oklahoma (+1800), and Ole Miss (+2200).
Ohio State remains the favorite to win the national championship at +550.
In terms of winning the SEC championship, Alabama's odds of claiming the conference title this season now sit at +1000, which is tied for the fifth-best with Ole Miss. Teams with better odds than the Crimson Tide are current favorite Georgia (+260), Texas (+350), LSU (+650), and Oklahoma (+800).
The Crimson Tide will return to action this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 12, on the road against Kentucky. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
