Former Alabama commit and in-state four-star 2027 offensive lineman Jatori "JT" Williams has decommitted from Miami, he announced Tuesday.
Williams was previously committed to Alabama for roughly two months late last year before decommitting from the Tide last December. He then eventually committed to Miami in May.
Williams is a 6'5, 330 pound offensive lineman from Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama. He ranks as the No. 114 overall player and No. 8 interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Meanwhile, the On3/Rivals Industry ranks him as the No. 113 overall player and No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the class.
According to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, Alabama is reportedly still in the mix
for Williams along with Auburn, Georgia, and Florida State. Fawcett mentioned those four schools as the ones "standing out" in Williams' recruitment, with plans to visit all four before announcing a final decision.
Williams plays left tackle for Central-Phenix City, but likely projects as an interior lineman at the next level. Central produced current Alabama players Red Morgan, Isaia Faga, and Mal Waldrep.
