The Alabama Crimson Tide will look to bounce back from their first loss ot the 2026 college football season when they take on century-old rival Tennessee in the 109th all-time meeting of the Third Saturday in October rivalry Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
Alabama (5-1 overall, 3-1 SEC) is No. 6 in the AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) is No. 14.
The Crimson Tide fell 20-17 to the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 6. The game has been widely panned for a controversial late no-call on a pass interference on what turned out to be Alabama's final drive. Keelon Russell was held to 16 of 30 passing for 185 yards with one touchdown. Georgia ran for over 200 yards against the Crimson Tide defense and converted seven of 13 on third
down.
Tennessee came from behind to defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks, 24-17, on the road in Fayetteville. George MacIntyre made his first start for the Volunteers and threw for 207 yards and a touchdown. He threw two interceptions while completing 18 of 29 passes.
