Former Alabama running back Jam Miller has signed with the Atlanta Falcons to their practice squad.
Miller played at Alabama for four seasons from 2022-25. He was a seventh round pick of the New England Patriots in the 2026 NFL draft, but was released in training camp.
Miller was Alabama's top running back in both 2024 and 2025. Miller led the team in rushing in 2025, even while battling injuries and missing four games. He finished the year with 130 carries, 504 yards, and three touchdowns.
In 2024, he finished second on the team in rushing yards, behind quarterback Jalen Milroe, with 668 yards on 145 carries and he scored seven touchdowns.
Miller finished his Alabama career with 349 carries, 1,596 rush yards, 40 catches, 336 receiving yards, and
15 total touchdowns (13 rushing, two receiving).
Miller had a tryout with the Falcons last week before being signed to their practice squad this week. Miller joins former Alabama player Kam Dewberry on the Falcons practice squad. The Falcons have four Alabama players on their active roster, which includes fellow Tide running back Brian Robinson Jr.. Da'Shawn Hand is also on the Falcons' injured reserve.
