If there was a word to describe the Alabama Crimson Tide's 48-10 win over East Carolina in Week 1, dominant might just be the answer.
In all, Alabama outgained the Pirates in total yardage during the contest, 487-162, and impressed in multiple facets of the game, most notably defensively. The Crimson Tide limited the East Carolina offense to 0-for-9 on third down, as well as let the Pirates only pickup five first downs the entire game, compared to 28 for Alabama.
On offense, Alabama also had a big showing headlined by the first-career start of quarterback Keelon Russell. The signal caller led by a big Crimson Tide performance running the ball, with Alabama racking up 227 yards as a team with Russell, Daniel Hill, EJ Crowell, and Trae'shawn Brown
all finding the end zone.
An all-around impressive showing for Alabama, let's take a look at how social media reacted to the Crimson Tide's showing Saturday against East Carolina.

Alabama 48-10
Keelon Russell is legit. Turned bad to good. Difference-maker.
EJ Crowell and the running game are a cut above last year. Found room between the tackles. Should only get better.
Defense might be the nastiest in years.
Strong start to another playoff run.
