On Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide picked up their biggest win yet, an impressive 45-17 road victory against the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington to open SEC conference play.
A game which Alabama trailed at halftime, the Crimson Tide simply dominated the second half against the Wildcats. Over the game's final two quarters, Alabama outscored Kentucky a combined 32-0 led by the running game taking over, as well as a defense that did not give up much to the Wildcats down the stretch.
Among the Alabama players who enjoyed big performances also were Daniel Hill on offense, while Caleb Woodson, Luke Metz, and Devan Thompkins headlined multiple huge showings on defense. Conor Talty was also impactful in the win, making all three field goal
attempts.
