Week 10 of the 2026 college football season is a blockbuster slate of can't-miss games across the country, including the Alabama Crimson Tide's visit to Baton Rouge to face the LSU Tigers in a top-15 SEC showdown that will carry significant playoff stakes for the winner and perhaps the loser, as well.
Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC) is No. 9 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll. LSU (6-2, 3-2) is No. 15.
Both the Tide and Tigers had their customary byes ahead of the matchup, and both are coming off wins in their last game. Alabama trailed Texas A&M entering the fourth quarter on Oct. 24 but used two Keelon Russell touchdown passes and a stout second-half defense to dispatch the Aggies, 31-20.
LSU was across the state in Week 8 and clobbered Auburn, 38-17,
at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Sam Leavitt threw for 388 yards and had three touchdown passes in the Bayou Bengals' rout. He also ran for a score as LSU racked up 552 yards of total offense.
"College GameDay" isn't headed to Baton Rouge for Alabama-LSU, but the Tide and Tigers are getting the royal treatment from ESPN just the same.
TV announcers for Alabama football vs. LSU Week 10 blockbuster revealed
Ahead of Alabama-LSU, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday's game. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the action from the broadcast booth at Tiger Stadium. Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines.
Additionally, ESPN Radio will have a national radio broadcast of the game featuring play-by-play announcer Mike Couzens, Max Starks and Mike Peasley. The game will also be available to stream on Disney+, in addition to ESPN+.
For Fowler and Herbstreit, it's the second Alabama game this season the duo will be on the call for. The pair called the Crimson Tide's 20-17 loss to Georgia in Week 6.
Fowler and Herbstreit have been ABC and ESPN's No. 1 broadcast crew on college football games since 2014.
