Alabama football is enjoying its only bye week of the 2026 season. The Crimson Tide will return to the field on Nov. 7 for a top-25 showdown against the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.
For the first time since 2010, Alabama won't be playing a night game at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff for Alabama-LSU will be 2:30 p.m. CT, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be televised on ABC, marking the Crimson Tide's eighth television appearance on the channel in nine games this season.
Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC) is No. 10 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25. LSU (6-2, 3-2) is No. 13 in the Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the AP Top 25.
The Crimson Tide rallied to beat the Texas A&M Aggies, 31-20, at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 8 behind two Keelon Russell
touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. LSU is coming off a 38-17 win over the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Alabama hasn't had a problem finding ways to win at LSU through the years. The Crimson Tide hold a 30-10-3 all-time record at LSU, and have lost only nine times in the 102-year history of Tiger Stadium, where they're 29-9-2.
Alabama defeated the Tigers, 42-13, in Kalen DeBoer's first trip to Baton Rouge as Crimson Tide coach in November 2024. The Tide lead the all-time head-to-head series against LSU, 58-27-5.
