It's gut-check time for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama visits the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge for the latest high-stakes showdown between the SEC rivals in Week 10 of the 2026 college football season.
Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC) is No. 9 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25. LSU (6-2, 3-2) is No. 15. In the initial College Football Playoff rankings
reveal Tuesday, the Crimson Tide are No. 5 with the Tigers No. 14.Alabama is looking to establish an identity for itself heading into the final month of the regular season with a playoff spot firmly within reach. The Crimson Tide received a much-needed bye in Week 9, a week after using two fourth-quarter Keelon Russell touchdown passes to survive a scare from Texas A&M in a 31-20 win at Bryant-Denny
Stadium. Russell finished 19 of 30 for 311 yards and three touchdown passes.
Kane Wommack's defense rose to the occasion, holding Texas A&M to three points in the second half. The Crimson Tide forced three straight three-and-outs in the fourth quarter while Russell fired touchdown passes to tights ends Marshall Pritchett and Kaleb Edwards.
LSU didn't need a big fourth quarter to win its last game. The Tigers went to Auburn on Oct. 24 and amassed 552 yards of total offense in a 38-17 rout at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Sam Leavitt threw for 388 yards and accounted for four scores, including three touchdown passes.
Will Alabama and Kalen DeBoer get another win at Tiger Stadium, or will Lane Kiffin win his first game against the Tide as LSU's coach?
