It was running backs, defense, and special teams that led the way for former Alabama Crimson Tide players in the NFL during Week 3.
Two former Tide running back's continue to be two of the best in the league, while a young pass-rusher had another big day getting after the quarterback. There were also a number of former Alabama defensive backs who made an impact in Week 3, some of which just missed this list.
Here are five standout NFL performances from former Alabama players during Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Running Back - Detroit Lions
Jahmyr Gibbs had one of the best weeks of any player in the NFL in Week 3 as he helped propel the Lions to a 31-24 win over the Jets. Gibbs got it done in a myriad of ways as he ended up with 20 carries, 99 rushing yards, seven catches,
65 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns (two rushing and two receiving). Gibbs had the fourth-most rushing yards this week and scored the most touchdowns of any non-quarterback.
Derrick Henry, Running Back - Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens made the trip down to Brazil to take on the Cowboys where they picked up a 34-31 victory. Derrick Henry scored two big touchdowns as he continues to help pace the league in that category (tied for the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL through three weeks). In Week 3, Henry finished the game with 26 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Will Anderson Jr., Defensive End - Houston Texans
Will Anderson had another dominant game in Week 3 as he led the league in sacks for the week. Anderson finished the game with seven tackles, 2.5 sacks, three TFL, and a strip-sack in which he also recovered the fumble. Five of Anderson's tackles were solo stops. For the season, Anderson is tied for second in the league in sacks.
Xavier McKinney, Safety - Green Bay Packers
Xavier McKinney made a near instant impact this week as he intercepted a pass on the fourth play of the game this week. McKinney finished up with five tackles and the interceptions. Four of his tackles were solo. The Packers ended up losing 35-14 to the Falcons.
Will Reichard, Kicker - Minnesota Vikings
You could make the argument that the Vikings do not beat the Buccaneers this week without Reichard, as they won by seven in a game in which he made three field goals. Reichard went three-for-three on field goals and made both PAT's he attempted as well. His field goals came from 56-yards, 54-yards, and 43-yards.
