ESPN's "College GameDay" is venturing outside the SEC for the first time this year in Week 5 of the 2026 college football season.
Host Rece Davis, former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban and fellow analysts Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will be in Iowa City for a top-25 Big Ten showdown Saturday between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Iowa Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium.
ESPN's crew visited Baton Rouge for Lane Kiffin's first game as LSU coach in Week 1 against Clemson and traveled to Austin for the top-five showdown between Texas and Ohio State in Week 2.
"GameDay" visited Oxford and Vaught Hemingway Stadium for Kiffin's return to Ole Miss in Week 3 and traveled to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville ahead of Week 4's top-25 clash between
the Texas and Tennessee.
Iowa will host "GameDay" for the third time in school history and for the first time since 2006. "GameDay"'s first broadcast from Kinnick Stadium was in October 1995. All three times, the Hawkeyes have hosted Ohio State.
The Buckeyes (3-1) are No. 5 in the AP Top 25 and No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll; Iowa (4-0) is No. 14 in the AP poll. Kickoff for Ohio State-Iowa is 2:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on CBS.
Saban will be making his first public appearance in Iowa City in many years. As Michigan State's coach from 1995-99, Saban's Spartans fell to the Hawkeyes, 37-30, on Oct. 5, 1996.
"College GameDay" on ESPN begins at 8 a.m. CT each week.

Alabama (4-0 overall, 2-0 SEC) will face the Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-0, 2-0) at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville in Week 5 of the 2026 college football season. Kickoff is 11 a.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC.
The Crimson Tide are No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25. Mississippi State is No. 16.
