After a lengthy stretch of dominance in the venue, there has likely been no SEC stadium that has seen the Alabama Crimson Tide struggle in recent trips more than Neyland Stadium.
Dating back to the 2022 season, Alabama has lost each of their last two trips to Knoxville, both of which were one-possession games. Alabama fell at Tennessee in 2022 under former head coach Nick Saban, 52-49, and then also dropped the first trip under Kalen DeBoer in 2024, 24-17.
This latest trip will also be a tough test for Alabama, as both the Crimson Tide and Volunteers enter the next chapter of their storied rivalry both ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Alabama sits at No. 7 nationally, while Tennessee is the nation's No. 14 ranked team.
Both teams also have a 5-1
overall record, with that lone loss for each having come in SEC play.

Alabama vs. Tennessee Week 7 prediction, pick:
While this is a venue where Alabama has struggled as of late, I do believe the Crimson Tide will in fact bounce back from the Georgia loss this Saturday in Knoxville. The Crimson Tide have the edge on offense, and as a result, are the early pick to win later this week, despite their recent struggles in Knoxville. Prediction: Alabama 33, Tennessee 24
