Keelon Russell and the Alabama Crimson Tide offense put on a clinic for much of the afternoon and early evening Saturday against the Florida State Seminoles at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama's first-year starting quarterback threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns and added a 57-yard scoring run as the Crimson Tide overcame some adversity to beat Florida State, 50-36.
Alabama (3-0) faced a slow start for the second straight week, and the defense had its worst performance in a young season. Once the game started to roll along without Mother Nature getting in the way, though, so too did Russell and the Crimson Tide offense.
After two separate weather delays, including one that delayed kickoff by 90 minutes, the Tide scored points on their last nine
offensive series to erase a 21-6 deficit en route to a two-touchdown win.
Alabama put up 567 yards of total offense, including 247 rushing yards. Freshman Trae'shawn Brown had 12 carries for 86 yards, EJ Crowell scored on a 5-yard touchdown toss and had seven carries for 51 yards, and Daniel Hill added 59 yards on 11 touches. The Crimson Tide averaged almost seven yards per carry.
Alabama will face the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1) at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 4. In the meantime, here's where the Crimson Tide are ranked in Sunday's new US LBM Coaches Poll.

Alabama football rises in Coaches Poll, two SEC rivals tumble
Alabama is ranked No. 8 in the Week 4 US LBM Coaches Poll, up two spots from last week. The Crimson Tide are ranked one spot below the Ohio State Buckeyes and one spot ahead of BYU Cougars.
Alabama is now the fourth highest-ranked SEC team. The Crimson Tide moved past LSU, which fell four spots to No. 11 following the Tigers' 32-24 loss at Ole Miss in Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford. Alabama also moved ahead of the Texas A&M Aggies, who fell 12 spots after a 31-21 loss to Kentucky at Kyle Field.
Texas A&M had the biggest drop of any team in the rankings in Week 3.
New Coaches Poll top 25 rankings after top-10 shuffle
With LSU and Texas A&M both losing in Week 3, and BYU and Texas Tech picking up big wins in conference play, the top 10 of the rankings looks a bit different.
