The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Tennessee Volunteers at a familiar time during Week 7 of the 2026 college football season at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
On Monday, the SEC announced early start time and TV channel information for its Week 7 schedule, including the annual Third Saturday in October matchup between the century-old rivals from Tuscaloosa and Knoxville.
Alabama (5-0 overall, 3-0 SEC) will face Tennessee (4-1, 1-1) at 2:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 17. The game will be televised on either ABC, ESPN, or SEC Network. An official TV channel designation will be announced following the conclusion of Saturday's Week 6 slate. Alabama-Tennessee will stream on ESPN+.
It will be the 109th all-time meeting between the Tide and Vols. Alabama leads
the series, 61-39-8. The Crimson Tide won last year's rivalry meeting, 37-20, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Tennessee has won the past two games of the series in Knoxville.
The Crimson Tide are coming off another dominant performance in a 56-23 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Week 5 at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville. Keelon Russell threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns while completing 16 of his 22 passes. He raced 17 yards for his fourth rushing touchdown of the season.
Alabama has scored 45 points or more through its first five games. The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 6 in this week's AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Alabama faces the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (5-0, 3-0) Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Tennessee defeated Auburn, 24-14, at Neyland Stadium in Week 5. DeSean Bishop rushed for 220 yards and three touchdowns. The Volunteers benched five-star freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon late in the first half. George MacIntyre completed eight of 10 passes for 86 yards.
Tennessee is No. 14 in the Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the AP Top 25. The Vols face the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-3, 0-2) at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Week 6.
