Two of college football's heavyweight programs, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs meet once again this upcoming Saturday night in yet another colossal showdown between the SEC powers.
This latest showdown between the two comes just a year after the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs met twice during the 2025 season, the first of which was a 24-21 Alabama road win in Athens during the regular season. The two teams then rematched in last season's SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, a game that saw Georgia avenge that loss, 28-7.
Alabama and Georgia will now meet in Tuscaloosa for the first time since Kalen DeBoer's first season in 2024 when the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulldogs in a classic, 41-34. The latest meeting will feature prominent players
from past games such as Ryan Coleman-Williams and Gunner Stockton once again, while others such as Keelon Russell will get their first taste of playing time in the matchup.
