ESPN's "College GameDay" is headed back to the SEC and to the home of the league's biggest blue blood program for Week 6 of the 2026 college football season.
Host Rece Davis, former Alabama Crimson Tide
coach Nick Saban and fellow analysts Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will be in Tuscaloosa for the top-10 SEC showdown Saturday between Kalen DeBoer's Crimson Tide and Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs at Bryant-Denny Stadium.It's the fifth time in six weeks GameDay has visited an SEC venue. ESPN's crew journeyed to Baton Rouge for Lane Kiffin's first game as LSU coach in Week 1 against Clemson and traveled to Austin for the top-five showdown between Texas and Ohio State in Week 2.
GameDay visited Oxford and Vaught Hemingway Stadium
for Kiffin's return to Ole Miss in Week 3 and traveled to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville ahead of Week 4's top-25 clash between the Texas and Tennessee.
Alabama will host GameDay for the 21st time in school history, which is second only to Ohio State's 26 times as host. Saturday's visit marks the fourth consecutive year that GameDay has been to Tuscaloosa.
GameDay visited Alabama for the Week 2 matchup between the Crimson Tide and Texas Longhorns in 2023. The following year, GameDay visited when Alabama welcomed Georgia to Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 5. GameDay was also on hand when the Crimson Tide hosted the Vanderbilt Commodores in a top-25 matchup on Oct. 4, 2025.
Alabama is No. 6 in the AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll; Georgia is No. 2. Kickoff for Alabama-Georgia is 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the action from Bryant-Denny Stadium. Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines.
