According to the initial Week 2 SEC Availability Report released Wednesday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide could be without one of their top players against the Kentucky Wildcats this Saturday.
That player is Michael Carroll, who was listed as "doubtful" on Wednesday night's report. The sophomore starts for the Crimson Tide at right guard, and is the lone returning starter on Alabama's offensive line from a year ago.
In addition to Carroll, Alabama has a number of players carrying injury designations into Week 2, as of Wednesday night, headlined by five names listed as "out." Two others could also be close to making their 2026 season debut though, something Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer hinted at earlier this week.
