Set to meet Saturday afternoon inside Tiger Stadium, could weather potentially play a factor when Alabama and LSU kickoff in Week 10?
The answer to that question appears to be no, as according to The Alabama Weather Network's James Spann, it will likely be a perfect forecast for football this Saturday in Baton Rouge. Per Spann on Tuesday morning, the forecast is likely to feature temperatures in the mid 70's at kickoff under sunny skies, which will fall in the 60's as the sun goes down.
At the moment, The Weather Channel also forecasts temperatures in the mid 70's at kickoff this Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge under partly cloudy skies. Winds could be around 5-to-10 miles per hour at kickoff.
This Saturday's showdown between the Crimson Tide
and Tigers in Baton Rouge will look a bit different than in prior years due to the start time. The game has been played at night almost every year for the last decade-plus, but will kickoff this season at 3:30 p.m. ET, televised live on ABC.
Both teams enter Saturday with two losses, as well as top 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Alabama is No. 5, while LSU sits at No. 14.
