After an impressive Week 1 win over East Carolina, did the Alabama Crimson Tide move in the latest AP Poll Top 25?
Released on Tuesday afternoon, Alabama has jumped a spot in the latest AP Poll, now sitting at No. 12 nationally. In the preseason, Alabama was ranked No. 13 nationally.
The Crimson Tide are coming off a dominant win to open the 2026 season at home, defeating East Carolina, 48-10, this past Saturday afternoon. Owning a commanding 38-7 lead at halftime, the Alabama offense had an impressive showing led by new starting quarterback Keelon Russell, while the Crimson Tide defense surrendered only five first downs the entire game, as well as held East Carolina to 0-of-9 on third downs.
Now sitting at 1-0 overall, Alabama is set to enter
SEC play during Week 2, traveling to Lexington for a game against the Kentucky Wildcats. Played this Saturday, Sept. 12, kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
