The Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the rise in the latest college football AP Poll Top 25 rankings after a Week 8 home win over Texas A&M.
Released on Sunday afternoon, Alabama rose three spots in the latest AP Poll, now ranking as the nation's No. 10 team. The Crimson Tide are the SEC's third-highest ranked team in the AP Poll entering Week 9, trailing only No. 3 Georgia and No. 9 Kentucky.
Miami remains the nation's No. 1 team after rising to the top spot a week ago.
Against the Aggies, Alabama avoided a potential third consecutive loss with the help of a dominant fourth quarter to propel the Crimson Tide to a 31-20 win. Keelon Russell led Alabama's offense with 300+ passing yards and a trio of touchdown passes, while others such as Rico Scott
and Fatutoa Henry also enjoyed big games for the Tide.
Alabama now enters a bye week sitting at 6-2 overall (4-2 SEC). The Crimson Tide will return to action in Week 10 on the road at LSU, who are also set to enter that matchup off a bye.
