Week 3 of the 2026 college football season sees the Alabama Crimson Tide facing the South Carolina Gamecocks at Bryant-Denny Stadium. It's the first time since South Carolina joined the SEC in 1992 that the Tide and Gamecocks will meet for a third consecutive year.

and AP Top 25 poll; South Carolina (2-1, 0-1) is unranked.Ahead of Alabama-South Carolina, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday's game in Tuscaloosa. Dave Pasch and Dusty Dvoracek will call the action from the broadcast booth at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Taylor McGregor will report from the sidelines.
Kickoff is 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ESPN. For Pasch and Dvoracek, it's the duo's
first time calling an Alabama game since the 2024 season opener against Western Kentucky. The Crimson Tide defeated the Hilltoppers, 63-0, in Kalen DeBoer's first game as Alabama's coach.
Alabama is coming off a 50-36 win over Florida State. The game saw two weather delays, including one that delayed kickoff time by over 90 minutes and a second that chased many fans from stadium.
Alabama had to overcome some early adversity for the second week in a row after falling behind, 21-6. Once the Crimson Tide started to piece things together, they came away with points on nine straight possessions.
Keelon Russell, already becoming a star in his first year as Alabama's starting quarterback, had his best day yet. He threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns. The former five-star recruit added a breathtaking 57-yard touchdown run in the second half as the Crimson Tide won for the 20th time in their last 21 home games.
Alabama also ran the ball well, averaging 6.9 yards per carry and rushing for 247 yards total. Running backs Daniel Hill and freshmen Trae'shawn Brown and EJ Crowell combined for 196 yards and two touchdowns.
South Carolina is coming off 41-34 loss to Mississippi State in its SEC opener at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks led 16-0 before Mississippi State rallied. Third-year starting quarterback LaNorris threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns but was intercepted twice. Sellers also ran for 52 yards.
