After an impressive road win Saturday afternoon at Kentucky to open SEC play, the Alabama Crimson Tide are rising in the latest college football AP Poll Top 25.
The Crimson Tide jumped two spots in Sunday's latest AP Poll, now sitting as the nation's No. 10 ranked team. Last week, Alabama sat at No. 12 following their season opening win against East Carolina.
In Week 2, Alabama picked up their first SEC win of the season by defeating Kentucky in Lexington, 45-17. Alabama trailed at halftime of the contest, but owned the second half to the tune of a 32-0 advantage, led by a Tide defense that limited the Wildcats to only 1-of-14 on third downs, as well as forced three turnovers.
Now sitting at 2-0 overall (1-0 SEC), Alabama will return home in Week
3 for a nonconference showdown against the Florida State Seminoles, who are currently unranked. Kickoff is set for Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
