The Week 7 slate in the SEC might've produced the most chaotic weekend the conference has seen in a long time.
Going into Saturday, the SEC's Week 7 slate of games featured three top 25 matchups, as well as a trio of additional ranked teams also in conference action. As a result, it was already known that three ranked SEC teams would suffer a loss Saturday, but what really set the conference's Week 7 slate over the top were the results elsewhere.
The SEC also saw two other ranked teams suffer a loss to an unranked conference foe, headlined by No. 1 Georgia suffering their first defeat at home to Auburn, 27-24. Texas, who was also ranked within the top 10, also fell at home to an unranked Florida by the same score, 27-24.
As to how those results
impacted the SEC regular season standings, there are now officially no undefeated teams in conference play remaining following Georgia's loss to Auburn. There is also now only one team remaining yet to win a SEC game following Arkansas' win over Vanderbilt.
Following is a look at the updated SEC regular season standings coming out of Week 7, which features two teams tied atop the conference entering Week 8.
