Following the Week 5 slate, there are now only three SEC football teams who remain undefeated in conference play.
On Saturday, two SEC teams suffered their first conference loss of the year, as both Mississippi State and Florida fell to Alabama and Missouri, respectively. As a result, Alabama also remained undefeated
in conference action, with the Crimson Tide now joined by Georgia and Texas as the SEC's lone unbeaten's.On the inverse, there are also still four SEC teams remaining entering Week 6 who have yet to win a conference game.
The list of SEC unbeaten's is also set to lose at-least one team this upcoming Saturday, as Alabama and Georgia will meet in Tuscaloosa during Week 6. Other notable matchups in Week 6 feature Texas, the SEC's other
lone unbeaten, facing Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, as well as Kentucky hosting LSU in a Top 25 showdown.
