A pair of Alabama Crimson Tide players, Josh Ford and Jorden Edmonds, officially carry a "questionable" tag ahead of Saturday's massive Week 6 game against Georgia.
Released on Wednesday night, both of Ford and Edmonds were listed on Alabama
's initial SEC Availability Report for Week 6, as were five others. Each of the five were listed as "out," with every player having missed last week's game as well.A tight end, Ford is a key player for Alabama's offense who recently broke his arm during the Mississippi State game a week ago, per Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer. Edmonds, a talented true freshman defensive back who ranked among Alabama's top recruits in their 2026 class, has yet to appear in a game this season after suffering an injury in fall
camp.
Also not mentioned on Wednesday night's report for Alabama was Jayvin James, meaning the starting right tackle is set to play against Georgia. James missed last week's road win at Mississippi State.
For Georgia, starting running back Nate Frazier was also not listed, but Chauncey Bowens was, and as a result, will miss Saturday's game. Bowens' seven total touchdowns lead the Bulldogs this season, while the running back also leads Georgia with 35 carries for the year.
