The Alabama Crimson Tide are reeling after back-to-back losses to Georgia and Tennessee. The Crimson Tide will look to get back on track in Week 8 of the 2026 college football season when the Texas A&M Aggies visit Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama (5-2, 3-2 SEC) dropped to No. 13 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25. Texas A&M (4-3, 1-3) is unranked.
The Crimson Tide are coming off an ugly 26-10 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers in the annual Third Saturday in October rivalry in Knoxville. Alabama was held to just 201 yards of total offense, and first-year quarterback Keelon Russell entered the fourth quarter with fewer than 100 passing yards.
Russell committed three turnovers and was held to 19 of 29 for a season-low 147 yards. He
was sacked five times as Tennessee's suffocating defense recorded 10 tackles for loss in the game.
Texas A&M shut out The Citadel, 41-0, in Week 7. Aggies running back Jamarion Morrow rushed for three touchdowns. Third-year quarterback Marcel Reed was 8 of 13 for 130 yards with a 37-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Gregory before sitting out the second half with Texas A&M up 28-0.
TV announcers for Alabama football vs. Texas A&M revealed
Ahead of Alabama-Texas A&M, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday's game in Tuscaloosa. Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer will call the action from the broadcast booth at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kris Budden will report from the sidelines.
It's the first Alabama game this season that Tessitore and Palmer will be on the call for. The duo called four Crimson Tide games last season: Alabama's wins over Wisconsin, Missouri and South Carolina, as well as its season-opening loss to Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
The pair are ABC and ESPN's No. 3 college football broadcast crew behind Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, and Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy.
