After a rough performance at Tennessee, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell's odds to win the 2026 Heisman Trophy have dropped significantly.
According to FanDuel, Russell's odds to win the Heisman now sit at +12500, as of Monday, Oct. 19. A week ago, the odds for Russell were +2000 following the Georgia loss.
Russell's odds are now tied for the eleventh-best of any player, tied with Wake Forest quarterback Gio Lopez. The current favorite remains Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith at -115.
Against the Volunteers, Russell had likely his least productive performance of the season where he completed 19-of-29 passes for 147 yards and two interceptions, while also rushing for six yards and a touchdown on 11 attempts. Russell also fumbled
once, was sacked five times, and finished with a QBR of 66.3.
Across his seven games played, Russell has completed 67.5% of passes for 1,746 yards and 12 touchdowns, as well as four interceptions. Russell has also rushed for 231 yards and five touchdowns on 57 attempts.
Alabama's next game comes this Saturday at home against Texas A&M. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
