One of the more anticipated matchups on the Alabama's 2026 schedule, the Crimson Tide's rematch against Florida State in Tuscaloosa is now merely days away.
A SEC vs. ACC showdown, Alabama and Florida State met just a year ago to open the 2025 season in Tallahassee, a game which the Crimson Tide were considered as big favorites. The Crimson Tide struggled though against Florida State, and were eventually upset in a shocking Week 1 result, 31-17.
With the home-and-home series now shifting to Tuscaloosa for the rematch, this season's matchup is also shaping up to be similar going into Saturday as a year ago. Yes, the location is different, but Alabama will be considered the big favorite once again, but will undoubtedly need to play better against
a Seminoles team that gave them issues a year ago to avoid another potential upset.
