Jackson was replaced by second-year lineman Luke Newman, who came in and helped contribute to a 7-play drive that went for 52 yards, culminating with a Roschon Johnson rushing touchdown.

Since the Bears have a short week coming up with a Thursday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots, Jackson's status will be worth monitoring. Jackson is in his second season with the Bears after the team acquired him from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange

for a sixth-round pick.
