The wait is finally over. On Tuesday morning, FOX News leaked the Chicago Bears' highly-anticipated "Rivalries" jerseys ahead of the 2026 season, along with the rest of the NFC North as well as the AFC South division.
The Bears' jersey is described as follows: "Gives Bears heritage a modern update, using a midnight palette, burnt orange accents and striping inspired by classic team design and the Chicago flag. Bold orange pants and heritage details nod to George Halas and the return of the 'Monsters of the Midway.'"
They will be worn during their Christmas home game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. Conversely, the Packers will don their own Rivalries uniforms in their home game against the Bears in Week 5 on October 11.
This is the first
time the Bears will be wearing a new uniform combination since unveiling their 1936 white throwbacks ahead of the 2019 season to celebrate their 100th anniversary. In 2022, the Bears also debuted an orange helmet to go along with their orange jerseys.
"Nike has a rich history with football, and we’re excited to partner with the NFL on this new Rivalries program to help grow the sport and expand it for the next generation,” Ryan Airhart, Director, NFL Apparel Product Design at Nike said last year. “Each uniform was designed in collaboration with the club it represents to authentically reflect what makes their team, fans and communities wholly unique."
The NFL introduced these new Rivalries uniforms last season, where the AFC North and NFC West each donned them for a respective divisional game.
These jerseys will be available to buy on Sept. 1.
