The Chicago Bears will face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, where Chicago is looking to improve to 6-2 after an 11-day break in a potential preview of the NFC Championship.
The Bears and Seahawks will announce their inactives 90 minutes before kickoff on Thursday night, or roughly 5:50 p.m. CT. This post will update as more information on player availability is known and official gameday inactives for Week 8 are announced.
The Bears have three players with injury designations with running back Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) ruled out and linebacker D'Marco Jackson (ankle) and rookie cornerback Malik Muhammad (toe) questionable for prime time. Meanwhile, newly-acquired defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is expected to make his Chicago debut.

Will Jeffery Simmons play vs. Seahawks?
The Bears traded for Jeffery Simmons on Thursday, and the All-Pro defensive tackle is expected to make his Chicago debut on prime-time against the Seahawks. Head coach Ben Johnson noted that Simmons will see the field — although probably not extensively in his first action: "He might not be quite that high Week 1 for us, but he certainly has shown the ability to carry a load."
Will Kyle Monangai play in Week 8?
Chicago's top-ranked run game will face off against Seattle's second-ranked run defense on Monday night. Unfortunately, the Bears will be without running back Kyle Monangai for a fourth straight game as he continues to nurse a toe injury. That means it'll be D'Andre Swift carrying the heavy workload with Roschon Johnson working in.
Will Malik Muhammad suit up vs. Seattle?
The Bears will face the league's top wide receiver in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and they'll need their best outside cornerback -- rookie Malik Muhammad -- in action. Muhammad, who suffered a toe injury against the Patriots, was limited in practice this week, and he's questionable for Monday night. If he can't go, it'll be Jaylon Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson, who've struggled, tasked with defending JSN.
What's the status of LBs T.J. Edwards and D'Marco Jackson
Chicago might have their full complement of linebackers against the Seahawks. Veteran T.J. Edwards will make his return to the field after missing the last couple of games with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, D'Marco Jackson is questionable with an ankle injury suffered in a Week 7 win over the Patriots.
