The Chicago Bears are expected to waive undrafted free agent offensive lineman Caden Barnett, according to Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.
Barnett, who played both guard and tackle at Wyoming, worked exclusively at right guard with Chicago this summer, and he was contending with fellow guards Jordan McFadden and Luke Newman, who are both expected to earn a roster spot.
Biggs noted that Barnett, who received $277,500 guaranteed when he initially signed, is strongly expected to re-sign to the practice squad.
