The Chicago Bears currently have a 31-24 halftime lead over the Carolina Panthers, but the lead did not come easy as the opposition has answered most of the big play drives.
Quarterback Caleb Williams has played at a very high level, throwing for 196 yards and a touchdown, while adding an impressive two rushing touchdowns as well, but there has been some questionable decisions from the sidelines also. Head coach Ben Johnson opted to go for it deep in their own territory, with the offense unable to convert, giving the ball back to Carolina who proceeded to score on the following drive.
Even with his team holding the lead at halftime, Johnson was not happy with himself and told ESPN Chicago sideline reporter Jason McKie that his team bailed him out
in the first half.

The Bears held a 31-24 halftime lead despite some questionable decisions from their head coach, which should make the second half more interesting if he can make the proper adjustments.
