The Chicago Bears may have someone truly special in quarterback Caleb Williams, who continues to add to his list of believers across the league, as well as analysts and former players.
For the first time in a very long time, NFL media is raving about a Bears quarterback, the most recent craze coming from former Super Bowl champion quarterback and CBS Sports analyst Russell Wilson.
After Williams’ week one performance against the Carolina Panthers, Wilson had high praise for the Bears quarterback. Wilson named Williams his "Mr. Unlimited Player of the Week" on his show, "Set, Hut" this week, which is broadcasted on CBS Sports, and co-hosted by former Chicago Bears offensive lineman, Kyle Long.
"I just don't know if anyone can stop Caleb Williams,"
Wilson said. "I think Caleb looked special in how he escaped, how he was running and throwing. I think the throw of the day, the moon ball of the week was Williams, matter of fact, he may be the Mr. Unlimited Player Of The Week."
It is only after Week 1 of the NFL season, but Williams has captivated plenty of attention, and his head coach has made it clear week to week they have new goals to achieve, no matter what they did the week before. Wilson is featured on a long list of former players and current analysts who had their heads turned by the Bears quarterback for his play in the Week 1 win.
