The Chicago Bears suffered a brutal loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, which wasn't helped with star quarterback Caleb Williams going down with a hamstring injury.
But according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero, Williams avoided a major injury to his hamstring, tests confirmed on Monday. In fact, the team isn’t even ruling him out for next Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which is incredible considering how the injury looked in the moment.
Williams suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 9-3 loss. He was in extreme pain following a first-down run in the red zone, when he went down and grabbed his right hamstring. He couldn't put any weight on his leg and was helped off the field. Williams was carted to the locker
room, where he was emotional but gave the cheering home crowd a thumbs up on his way out.

How much time will Caleb Williams miss?
It's currently unknown how much time Caleb Williams will miss with his hamstring injury. You would assume that he would miss at least the next game, which is next Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. But, according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero, the Bears aren't ruling him out just yet.
Who would start in place of Caleb Williams?
If Caleb Williams can't suit up for Week 3's prime-time game against the Philadelphia Eagles, it would be backup quarterback Tyson Bagent getting the start with Case Keenum serving as the backup.
