The Chicago Bears are gearing up for a Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets, which will feature a reunion between former Detroit Lions coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.
The Bears are coming off an impressive 27-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, where they once again dominated the trenches and made a statement with third-stringer Case Keenum under center amid quarterback injuries. Keenum orchestrated Ben Johnson's offense to perfection, completing 24-of-34 passes for 247 yards and accounting for three total touchdowns. Meanwhile, Chicago's defense had an even better showing in Week 3, holding the Eagles to just seven points, forcing three turnovers and completely shutting them down in the second half.
Meanwhile, the Jets are coming
off a narrow 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, where they overcame a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game before the Lions eventually pulled away. The Jets were gashed by Jahmyr Gibbs on the ground and through the air while New York's offense struggled in the run game but were once again able to keep things close with an NFC North opponent.
Following a big prime-time win over the Eagles and facing a short week before Week 4, the Bears are looking to build a winning streak. But what do oddsmakers think about this NFC vs. AFC matchup?
