The Chicago Bears will battle the New England Patriots in prime-time in Week 7, where Chicago is looking to improve to 5-2 in the first of three straight prime-time games ahead of their Week 10 bye.
The Bears’ Week 7 game will air on Prime at 7:15 p.m. CT on Thursday night. The television commentators for the game are Al Michaels (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Kaylee Hartung (sideline reporter).
The Bears are coming off an impressive 31-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons, where quarterback Caleb Williams and cornerback Kyler Gordon provided a massive boost for the offense and defense with dominant showings. The offense dominated the time of possession (40:08) and went 4-for-5 in the red zone, where their lone miss was Roschon Johnson
sliding just short of the end zone at the end of the game to preserve the win. On defense, minus three starters, they managed to hold MVP candidate Bijan Robinson to just 61 rushing yards and the team as a whole totaled three takeaways.
Meanwhile, the Patriots are coming off a 23-19 win over the New York Jets, where quarterback Drake Maye threw for three touchdowns in what was an overall ugly game for New England. The Patriots lost three offensive linemen in the win, which isn't encouraging on a short week. But the defense did come away with Geno Smith's first interception of the season in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.
