The
Washington Commanders are releasing former Chicago Bears kicker Jake Moody, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The Bears signed Moody last year after he was waived by the San Francisco 49ers amid multiple missed field goals against the Seattle Seahawks. With Cairo Santos sidelined by injury, Moody stepped into action for Chicago in Week 6 against the Commanders, where he connected on 4-of-5 field goals, including the game-winning kick from 38 yards.
