Chicago Bears finally got some good news at quarterback ahead of their Week 3 prime-time game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Head coach Ben Johnson announced that backup quarterback Tyson Bagent has cleared concussion protocol and will be back at practice on Saturday. Meanwhile, starter Caleb Williams won't practice on Saturday, which pretty much guarantees he won't see the field on Monday night.
"Still some uncertainty of who's inactive and inactive," Johnson said. "...We want to play this thing out."
More to come.
