The Chicago Bears are banged up heading into Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, where they'll likely be without their top two quarterbacks in Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent. Now, there's question about whether their run game will be full strength.
According to Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs, running back Kyle Monangai was not present during the portion of Wednesday practice open to the media. Monangai had a brief stint in the medical tent during Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Monangai led the Bears in rushing with 10 carries for 47 yards, for an average 4.7 yards per carry, in Week 2. With Case Keenum expected to start in place of injured Williams and Bagent, Chicago is going to need their full supporting cast available,
including their top-ranked run game.
Since the Bears don't play until Monday night, they won't release their first injury report until Thursday, which will reflect Wednesday's practice since they won't practice on Thursday. So we won't know Monangai's current status until tomorrow.
