Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his Week 6 performance in a 31-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
After missing the previous three games with a hamstring injury, Williams had arguably the best game of his career against the Falcons. Williams completed 30-of-36 passes for 305 yards and a one touchdown with a 111.2 passer rating. He had the highest completion percentage in the NFL in Week 6 (83.3%) and has the highest completion percentage in the league through 6 weeks (72.5%), which is just above that 70% mark that Ben Johnson is aiming for.
Williams completed his first 12 passes in the game. He was a perfect 24-for-24 for 248 yards from a clean pocket, and his 24 attempts are
the most without an incompletion from a clean pocket in a game since at least 2018.

Williams became the third quarterback in NFL history to throw 50 touchdowns before his 15th interception, joining some elite company in Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.
Williams is just the second Bears quarterback to win NFC Offensive Player of the Week twice, joining the likes of Jay Cutler.
