The Chicago Bears will battle the Philadelphia Eagles on prime time in Week 3, where Chicago is looking to bounce back after a rough loss and after losing star quarterback Caleb Williams to a hamstring injury.
The Bears’ Week 3 game will air on ABC and ESPN at 7:15 p.m. CT on Monday night. The television commentators for the game are Joe Buck (play-by-play), Troy Aikman (analyst) and Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge (sideline reporters).
The Bears are coming off a brutal 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, where Chicago's offensive production dropped from 59 points in Week 1 to a single field goal in Week 2. Ben Johnson was out-coached by Brian Flores and the players continued to commit self-inflicted mistakes that cost them in a close game. To
make matters worse, quarterback Caleb Williams suffered a hamstring injury that's expected to keep him out for a little bit. But the defense did have a nice bounce-back outing after an abysmal showing in the season opener.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are coming off a close 24-20 win over the winless Tennessee Titans, where quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a last-second touchdown to receiver Darius Cooper with nine seconds left. Philadelphia got a challenge from Tennessee, whose defense was able to get after Hurts to the tune of three sacks and two interceptions. But the Eagles were able to outlast the Titans in the end.
