The Chicago Bears suffered a tough 31-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, where the offense had their worst showing of the season in their third game without starting quarterback Caleb Williams. But wide receiver Luther Burden III was a favorite target for quarterbacks Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum, who both saw action in this game.
Burden led the Bears with four receptions for 47 yards on six targets in what was an overall disappointing day for the offense amid poor play all around. But Burden did have more success than most on that Chicago offense, although one Packers defender doesn't believe so.
After the game, Packers linebacker Zaire Franklin took a shot at Burden saying: "He quit today. He didn’t wanna play no more."
Burden, who's
made his hatred for the Packers clear and has never shied away from conflict on social media, clapped back at Franklin's comments.
"Tell bro stop clout chasin me," Burden wrote on X.
Tell bro stop clout chasin me 😹👎🏽

Before Sunday's game against the Packers, Burden discussed how the Bears wanted "to beat them real bad and make them quit," which explains Franklin's choice of words about "quitting" on Sunday.
