Disaster struck the Chicago Bears on the lakefront Sunday afternoon that could result in a serious injury for their most important player. Quarterback Caleb Williams suffered a lower leg injury during the fourth quarter against the Minnesota Vikings after carrying the ball in the red zone. Williams went down awkwardly while running in serious pain as the Bears trailed 6-3.
After leaving the field and being checked out in the blue injury tent, the third-year quarterback was carted off into the locker room. Williams had a towel over his head and appeared to be emotional while giving a thumbs up to the crowd.
The injury shocked Bears fans and NFL fans alike with many hoping to avoid the worst-case scenario. It remains to be seen what injury Williams
