The Chicago Bears are set to open the 2026 NFL season against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
The Bears are coming off an impressive first season under head coach Ben Johnson, where they went from worst to first with an 11-6 record, won the NFC North for the first time in eight years and won a playoff game for the first time in nearly two decades. Johnson helped take Caleb Williams' game to the next level as the former No. 1 pick established himself as one of the most clutch quarterbacks in the NFL. Following last season's success, expectations are high for 2026.
