The Chicago Bears got some good news on Tuesday with the return of wide receiver Luther Burden III, who was spotted running routes at practice just a few weeks removed from a groin injury.
Burden suffered a groin injury on Aug. 8 when he got tangled up with cornerback Tyrique Stevenson during a one-on-one rep at practice. Burden was labeled as week-to-week and missed the entire preseason, but he was expected to return in time for the regular season.
Burden has been ramping up from his groin injury, and head coach Ben Johnson said that "he looks 100% to me" after Chicago's preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans last Saturday night. That's great news for Burden's availability when the Bears face the Carolina Panthers in Week 1.

Burden is coming off an impressive rookie season, where he totaled 47 catches on 60 targets for 652 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie, showcasing his impressive speed and playmaking ability. He's garnered plenty of hype this offseason and is primed for an extended role in Year 2 following DJ Moore's departure.
