Allen Robinson is calling it a career. The former Chicago Bears wide receiver announced his retirement on Monday with a 9-minute video on his Instagram reflecting on his entire football journey.

Robinson finishes his outstanding career with 565 catches, 7,058 yards, and 43 TDs.

Robinson entered the NFL as a second-round pick in 2014 with the Jacksonville Jaguars and exploded in his second year with 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl. He signed a multiyear deal with the Chicago Bears prior to the 2018 season as the team's top wide receiver and helped capture the NFC
North division title in his first season.
Robinson spent four seasons with the Bears, producing back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020, becoming only the fifth player in team history to accomplish that feat. He holds the record for the most receiving yards in a Bears playoff game with 143 back during the 2018 wild card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. In four years, Robinson totaled 293 receptions for 3,561 and 18 touchdowns and was a reliable weapon for quarterbacks such as Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles. He's currently 11th in Bears career receiving yards. "It was always special to me being able to play on the field with such talented guys," he said while reflecting on his time in Chicago.
Following his stint in Chicago, Robinson spent time with the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Detroit Lions. He last played in 2024 after sitting out the 2025 season.
